Yatesy88 Posted September 28, 2015 Posted September 28, 2015 Hello everyone.. I will be purchasing a classic Subaru Impreza in the next couple of weeks. Just wondering if anyone has any tips? I'm buying an older one due to insurance. Classic insurance only £200 a year fully comp :)
stants Posted September 29, 2015 Posted September 29, 2015 Hello & welcome there's a buying guide around somewhere, I can never find it on me phone [emoji35] Just the usual checks you'd do on any car prior to buying really plus a few more regarding knocking from the bottom end and looking for wear on the turbo, etc
Scoobyghost Posted September 29, 2015 Posted September 29, 2015 For a classic, check rear arches for rust. Power steering pumps tend to be a common problem. Clutch check, put it in 3rd low revs and put your foot down to check for slip.
