GMInsite Posted October 21, 2015 Posted October 21, 2015 Yeah its a shame as for price they are really good but i would not go for a paddle clutch again, its ok on track but on a daily and traffic its a nightmare
ChrisD Posted October 21, 2015 Author Posted October 21, 2015 They didn't try and charge it, they said they wouldn't do the pink one but if I wanted I could pay the extra for the compatition clutch, I wasn't too pleased so I say refund it Sent from my D6603 using Tapatalk
Scoobyghost Posted October 21, 2015 Posted October 21, 2015 Oh right. So you got the exedy from elsewhere?
ChrisD Posted October 21, 2015 Author Posted October 21, 2015 Through the local garage Sent from my D6603 using Tapatalk
ChrisD Posted October 21, 2015 Author Posted October 21, 2015 Thinking if it has a problem it's down to their recommendations and thus their problem to sort Sent from my D6603 using Tapatalk
Scoobyghost Posted October 21, 2015 Posted October 21, 2015 If Aztec knew about it hopefully exedy will be able to refund some. They don't usually cover labour though.
ChrisD Posted October 21, 2015 Author Posted October 21, 2015 Hmm. Will ask my garage and see what they say. Frustrating times :( Sent from my D6603 using Tapatalk
Scoobyghost Posted October 21, 2015 Posted October 21, 2015 Indeed. If the whole job was done by the garage, it should all be covered by sales of goods and services act.
Gambit Posted October 21, 2015 Posted October 21, 2015 I agree if it's a bad badge they should be covering. Look at them vw emissions dodging w8nkers ;) 1
ChrisD Posted October 21, 2015 Author Posted October 21, 2015 Will use that in my argument :) Sent from my D6603 using Tapatalk 1
Scoobyghost Posted October 21, 2015 Posted October 21, 2015 From 1st October 2015 the law was changed slightly. It's now called the consumer rights act 2015. I believe this section applies to you Failed repairs After one failed attempt by the retailer to repair or replace a faulty item, you're entitled to ask for a refund or price reduction. A second repair or replacement If you don't want a refund or price reduction, you have the right to request another repair or replacement at no cost to you. http://www.which.co.uk/consumer-rights/regulation/consumer-rights-act 1
stants Posted October 22, 2015 Posted October 22, 2015 martins a fair chap so hopefully you'll get it sorted with no fuss
ChrisD Posted October 22, 2015 Author Posted October 22, 2015 I would have thought so. He has been very good in the past :) Sent from my D6603 using Tapatalk
Gambit Posted October 22, 2015 Posted October 22, 2015 I'd not hear a bad word about Martin. Possibly one of the most genuine guy's I've ever met. One of a few things Ash has done well with for this forum haha [emoji1]
