Waltsinhull
Hi all. Just a few lines to say hello, I'm back in a Subaru after a gap of a few years. My first was a new classic in 2001 - which was a bit too basic and harsh for my family, so it didn't hang around for long! After a ten year gap, I bought a P1 - which I enjoyed for a full 20 minutes until the engine blew up on the way home from the dealers! Fortunately, the dealer played ball and provided an immediate and full refund. I gave them a rest for a while after that until I bought a 2004 WRX which I restored to a very high standard and enjoyed for a while until I moved into a city and started getting harassed by the police and boy racers! Fell in love with the 2014 WRX STi when it came out but at the time there was no dealer within 50 miles! Earlier this year, we got a dealer and so I decided to invest last month in a 2016 model - chose something other than blue, to try and reduce the unwanted attention. Working so far.

Waltsinhull
Managed to find some shots in the archive for you - didn't have much on the P1 due to my rather short ownership - I wonder where that is now!

I've bought the STi to use sparingly against my 2014 qashquai - which is much easier on my old bones every day :-)
Gambit
No I know what you mean the older ones certainly are a more harsh drive. But in a good way. [emoji106] [emoji1] I did like the sti badge that lights up haha I'm easily amused [emoji1]
