November 1, 201510 yr Hi guys, I am a newbie Legacy owner and recently came into issues with my Blue Arrow (Legacy B4 RS 2001 2.0 automatic JDM). The car started to overheat and then white smoke came from the bonnet. The coolant reservoir was empty so after topping it up and letting the car cool for 7 hours I set of for home hoping I was just negligent with the coolant and the same thing happened - overheating, smoke and reservoir low on coolant. Couldn't really tell from where the smoke was coming but it was from the water pump area. Now the whole engine is covered with antifreeze. I've checked the radiator hose for cracks and leaks and it looks fine. Does anyone know what might be the issue? If it's the pump, should the timing belt and all the pulleys be changed with the pump? Can someone give a recommendation for which garage can do a proper job in Stevenage.
