Hi there Subaru enthusiasts. I have a lovely Legacy 3.0R. Best car I ever owned. Love it. Can anyone advise me on auto transmission fluid for the 5EAT box please? There seems to be loads of confusion over a UK available fluid.

Hello & welcome, not entirely sure on the fluid as they used to allow a dexron 3 type fluid it was all made under licence from GM, they withdrew the license a while back so subaru started using their own spec, I believe it's it's the same but in any doubt I'd contact your local dealer or contact opie oils www.opieoils.co.uk as they know their stuff
