Im off for a break next Wednesday so driving down to stansted flight is 11:45 departing so will be hoping to arrive around 8:30-9am

i work only a few miles from there and generally the traffic flows pretty well around the airport.

Just watch out for the standard rush hour delays and you'l be fine :)

A14 is a nightmare certain times of the day , m11 isn't too bad

well its about 3.5 hours sensible driving from me in manchester, so was thinking around 5ish

M6 is pretty crap too at times. Had to go to Wolverhampton for work today and crawled on there for an hour this morning at about 7. Admittedly going the other way though.

Yeah it is telling me to go m61/62 towards leeds and then down A1 and M11

So that will probs be the route i will take

I work all over and can do Manchester in sub 3 hours in right conditions I go m62 / a1
