aucky Posted December 28, 2015 Posted December 28, 2015 Hi guys can anyone tell me if blobeye Brembo front and rear brakes will fit straight on my 07 hatch, would i need adapters or anything ? Cheers. Sent from my GT-N7100 using Tapatalk
Gambit Posted December 28, 2015 Posted December 28, 2015 Pretty sure the fronts will be fine but the rears won't fit. If you get the STI rear brakes from a 2008 they can be made to fit :) 1

Tidgy Posted January 4, 2016 Posted January 4, 2016 Offset will be an issue opn the wheels as well. You could chuck a set of D2's on it or a AP 4 pot kit for the ultimate, really depends on budget 1

Tidgy Posted January 4, 2016 Posted January 4, 2016 whats on the back end currently? on scoobs front end does alot more braking than the back end so you dont have to do the rears as well.
aucky Posted January 4, 2016 Author Posted January 4, 2016 These are on front and rear Yeah i just like to have them all same and the brembos were all 4 for sale .the 1's that are on now look crap lol. Sent from my GT-N7100 using Tapatalk
Tidgy Posted January 4, 2016 Posted January 4, 2016 o right, didnt realise they were slide ones all round on em tis a bit of an !Removed! that 1
aucky Posted January 4, 2016 Author Posted January 4, 2016 I have groove n dimpled disks n uprated pads on it but dont help much . Sent from my GT-N7100 using Tapatalk
Tidgy Posted January 4, 2016 Posted January 4, 2016 yeah i only found i got confidence in my old calssic when i swapped out the front calipers for some d2's. was lucky with the type r cos its got ap fronts and Brembo conversion on the rear already
aucky Posted January 4, 2016 Author Posted January 4, 2016 May be a daft question but are these rear calipers better then the sort i have on And i guess they fit if their off a wrx. Sent from my GT-N7100 using Tapatalk
Gambit Posted January 6, 2016 Posted January 6, 2016 Couldn't say if the was better same what I have on both blob and bug. Notorious for pistons seasing up. I've also on track days soon cooked my brakes which left me needing to slow down until they came back. 1
aucky Posted January 6, 2016 Author Posted January 6, 2016 Think i will leave the back how they are then n go big brake kit for front when i change them.all though i have found a Brembo kit lol Brembo plastic covers Top mod i would say just slide them over you calipers and their you have it Brembo brakes lol Sent from my GT-N7100 using Tapatalk 1
Xander Posted January 6, 2016 Posted January 6, 2016 Plastic covers the way to go. Yer breaks on my list as well. I was looking at some k sports or something but as you say crazy expensive. When you want to do all 4. I have been thinking about just doing the front. Be nice if I could find a set from an sti that just bolt on. -- I make Films for businesses and people.
