Tex46
Hi, I am not sure if this problem is unique to me. I have a 61 plate diesel forester manual XSn. About every two months I have to replace the clutch pedal rubber, that wears away in the top left hand corner (see attached photo). I try to keep my left foot as far to the right as possible, when depressing the clutch, but I sometimes catch the brake pedal, which does not please my passengers. I wrote to Subaru UK and they kindly sent me a whole bag of pedal rubbers, which I have now almost used up. The car has done 50K miles. I have never had this problem with any other car and I wonder if anybody else has encountered it.
Mr B
not at that speed, many tend last close to 100k miles ! I would suggest using an after market alloy treaded pedal cover rather than the rubber . perfectly fine for mot too .
Linx
That's amazing. No problem on my Impreza. Sent from my HTC Desire 510 using Tapatalk
HawkeyeLawrence
Did they do metal pedal covers (like in the newage wrx's) for the fozzies? If so that may also be a permanent solution (if the look is your cup of tea of course!) Sent from my iphone using Tapatalk
