I know that the WRX STI got a upgrade to 320 not long ago but as I'm doing some digging into the 2nd hand market I'm seeing a few cars with a 340R Prodrive option.

 

Does anyone know what has been upgraded on these models or is it simply a re-map to take it to 340 Bhp?

 

Again any help is appreciated as I dont have much knowledge about Subaru's as I've always been a Ford and BMW owner in the past.

It varies slightly depending on the model year but overall it tends to be a map and stainless steel prodrive backbox but it can also include a fuel pump, filter and induction tube fitted between the standard filter box and manifold

 

this provides some information on the upgrade if purchased as an extra from a dealer
