Phila67 Posted February 11, 2016 Posted February 11, 2016 As the header says, has anyone ever sea foamed there scooby. Is it worth it? Does it cause any damage Thanks Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Gregolasos Posted February 11, 2016 Posted February 11, 2016 Personally I would steer clear as I wouldn't want to be spraying chemicals into my engine, and I can't imagine there to be any real improvements if your car is serviced properly and regularly, but someone on here may have experience with it that may say different! 1
stants Posted February 11, 2016 Posted February 11, 2016 I keep thinking about it but not got round to it, subaru actually sell a variant of it called upper engine cleaner. Just can't buy it here [emoji35] Do it before an oil change though, plenty of vids on YouTube being used on scoobys
Phila67 Posted February 11, 2016 Author Posted February 11, 2016 From what I've seen its a general cleaner , lubricator rather than a specific cleaner. Lots of conflicting opinions Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
stants Posted February 12, 2016 Posted February 12, 2016 Yeah the way I've seen it used is to open one of the vac tubes on the throttle body and pour in when running, supposed to clean the gunk off the valves etc. Have a look on naioc and forester.org loads of people swear by it there
