This is my 53 plate XT as it's now a third car it's having a full sort before winter.

DSC_1034.JPGpOk so what have I done today? Built four axle stands got the wheels off and raised it up on them

Looks like it needs rear breaks but next plan is a clean up and check everything before I go spending

Font look too bad, seen a lot worse on the calipers looks like the discs have seen better days !

The back discs have certainly had it. Also the backing plate has disintegrated. Front?  Saveable?  but I don't think I will as they are pretty crusty 

 One of the back calipers were seized but will know more when there in bits 

Not sure of prices or places  yet for stock std XT breaks. Put a few on over the years  I have had it like but parts prices have certainly risen on this car 

 

 


Www.importcarparts.co.uk or there's loads on eBay or for what's it's worth you could pick up some 4pots of a Wrx that will bolt straight up for a simialr price
