The largely US Subaru Outback forum has this tip to adjust the calculation of the trip computer. Does anyone know if it works on Euro Outbacks? My OB is consistently calculating the mpg between 9% and 20% too optimistically. Although I have a feel for it, it would be useful to be able to apply a correction factor.

 

I know that the tip from the US for disabling the seatbelt warning (so you can turn off the warning that the bag on the seat next to you is not buckled up!) didn't work. 

 

Is there an equivalent dealer mode available for EMEA/APAC models?
