Driving back from South Yorkshire this weekend my Engine Management warning lamp came on along my Vehicle Dynamics warning lamp (Traction Control Basically) with a slash through it and I lost the use of my cruise control.  When I got home I checked it out with my OBD2 reader and it initially gave me 2 amber error codes P1469 Possible Powertrain fault and P1468 which I didn’t note the error advice.  I tried to clear the fault code but although the warning lamp went out they immediately returned.

Reading the hand book it states this could possibily be an electrical fault or something more major and I should contact my local Subaru dealer etc.  Has anyone any idea what this problem could be, where to look or any other information please?

1469 is DPF soot level and it in limp home mode.

1468 is oil dilution related ...

Thanks for that Mr B... I've noticed a drop in power on hills but not a real problem... So it's back to the DPF again.... Thanks
