peterapps Posted March 22, 2017 Posted March 22, 2017 New to site but have had my little XV diesel for almost two years without problems until Monday this week when it came up with all sorts of faults. Most were simply cleared at the local garage but the main problematic one (now also cleared) was P2150 Injector Valve Circuit. I don't use supermarket fuel. It seems to run OK at the moment but I just wondered if this was a known issue and if I need to get it to a Subaru specialist?
GeoffLeggy Posted March 22, 2017 Posted March 22, 2017 Can't see it as a common fault and would suggest a specialist yes if it returns. Do you have someone local?
peterapps Posted March 22, 2017 Author Posted March 22, 2017 Nearest Subaru dealer is in Carlisle which is an hour away. Need to find a more local specialist. reported on Subaru forum to be a possible wiring issue in the steering column on XV models with chaffing of the loom.
GeoffLeggy Posted March 22, 2017 Posted March 22, 2017 I'm not familiar with the area but hopefully someone can help more local.
peterapps Posted March 22, 2017 Author Posted March 22, 2017 Thanks. It would be very useful. The local garage is OK but there's nothing like a good specialist.
