Help wanted.

I own an Impreza WRX 1997/98 model that I bought at auction and imported from Japan in 1999. I am now moving to Norway, and want to import it, but the Authorities are being very awkward since it is a model that was not sold in Norway. Apparently, they want to check it against its official manufacturing/homologation papers. I need to get hold of a copy of its official specification/particulars.

Can anyone help and point me in the right direction since I want to keep this superb car, which will really come into its own in winter conditions in Norway. Back in the 1980s, I lived in Norway and had an Audi Quattro which in the winter I fitted with studded tyres. It was superb in snow and ice, particularly under breaking, and I know that the Subaru will be the same but only more so.  I am looking forward to those conditions.
