Cambelt & water pump change

Hey peeps

ive ordered a cambelt & water pump kit & ive been advised to get some coolant as this will be flushed when its changed... im looking for a pointer on the coolant side of things please.

first of all how much cooant do i need to fill the system?

Balls just written a massive reply and lost it.

 

Basically the comma stuff will be ok, i had it in mine for three years with no problems,

make sure you flush the old stuff out in case it's had a different type in, the two will react and turn to jelly 😲 just take off the bottom rad hose and pop a hose pipe in the radiator and header tank and run it for a while,

 

I think it's about 5L you'll need I just did a 50/50 mix concentrate & de ionised water
