Swelegacy Posted May 6, 2017 Share Posted May 6, 2017 I'm going to replace my V-Belt tension pulley after a failiure. Do I just remove the two bolts that hold the pulley assembly and just replace it with the new one? I guess that there are not nuts involved at the back and that the assembly has threads, so its an easy bolt off bolt on job. What is the easiest way to mount the belt back? Greenmamba Posted May 7, 2017 Share Posted May 7, 2017 If it's the tensioner pulley, not the idler pulley be careful - there is a nut behind the bolt (which holds the pulley itself onto the tensioner) which can get lost down a crevice and you will battle to get it out. When I did mine, I bought Febest pulleys (idler and tensioner use the same pulley) which came delivered from Lithuania in 2 days, much cheaper.
