Folding mirror NOT folding

Hi all

I am new in the forum. I have a 2008 impreza with folding mirrors which have worked fine up until now. The mirror on the left side won't fold & buzzes constantly. When I push it it folds but then it won't open again. Any ideas what has gone wrong and how to fix it?

I have the same problem with SF5, left side as well. Would be great to find out the fix for it -)

Well here is DIY of how to fix it, good job I have friends who speak Russian -) Feel free to ask any questions (THIS IS FOR SF5 models).
