Hi just wondering if anybody knows how to fix a radio thats gone into security mode? i have disconnected the negative terminal of the battery and that fixes it temporarily but after a while it goes back to security. Also the radio wont pick up any stations. Its a kenwood touchscreen unit.

Sorry, can't help. Have you tried googling for the online manual?

Integrated radios are usually paired with the ECM, so may need dealer help. Is this set the original for this car?

Will have a look for the manual now, pretty sure it's the original radio for the car unless it's been taken from another car and that's why its not corresponding with my car.

Just an update on this spoke to a Subaru dealer today. They reakon it is an hour labour to try and code the radio and then they said it still might not work? Guessing this radio in my car is out of another and is coded to said vehicles ecu. So doesn't recognise my car. Wondering wether to just buy an aftermarket head unit now.
