Hi all I've bought a 1999 2.0 turbo in good condition but am having trouble starting I was told either key isn't being recognised or transender is at fault I don't have four digit code but do have the sixteen digit code.all started after replacing car Battery any help most apriciated

@Dave1975 Hello mate, I spent a bit of time looking into the key fobs on these when trying to code a new one for mine!

This says if you have the 16 code you can get the 4 digit from your local dealer by showing proof of ownership and the 16 digit code.
