just purchased a forester sti 2001 model,from my father who is 80 years young,it's an auto model as he only liked auto cars,serviced regular,will be up for sale soon so if anybody is intrested drop me a line,,,,not sure if it's here you post cars for sale ,I'm just putting it out there ,many thanks vinny.

Hi can't tell you a lot about the car,my dad has owned this car for a number of years,he 80 now so got a car not so fast ,,,it's been regularly serviced ,it's a y reg I think that's about a 2001 model,,totally standard as to what I can see,,,he's the only owner since it's been in this country I think ,,,,got 90,000 on the clock,turbo timer,years mot,great condition ,,,hope this helps,,,,what else would you like to no

Forgot to mention,it says stb next to sti badge at the back,,,,if you no what it stands for ,I anti got a clue lol

S/tb means sport turbo usually manual
T/tb usually indicates ist an auto model
The Sti model of sf foreater came as a type m for manual and m2 as auto Iirc

Mines says stb and it's an auto ,,must be a rare one lol

 

If you havent already why not set up a thread in the for sale section with pictures etc - many people do searches specifically for sale items aso oit may help it stand out?
