Mototavi
Hi, I am based in West Devon and looking to buy a good condition Forester with a decent spec. I have always liked the look of the first series cars but have no idea whether I would be better looking for one of these, or something a couple of years younger ? My usual target for buying a car is low mileage and good service history. Any advice / info would be appreciated. Thanks Andrew
stants
@MrB is the best person to be asking for advice he's in your neck or the woods too, I believe he may source foresters for his customers, I'd see if you can have a word Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk

Mototavi
Thanks for the replies. I bought a tidy Forester GLS, year 2000, with 112k on the clock. Has a lot of service history and seems to drive well. Plan to get it checked over at Ashburton Subaru. It has a nice, old school feeling to the interior and I rather like the styling of the series 1.
