chrisletts
I need to fit a new rubber to the rear wiper of my 2015/16 Forester. I've done plenty on other cars but the Forester seems to have a very basic plastic wiper, and the end caps that stop the rubber coming out are built into the wiper itself. Can I simply bend the blade and/or endcaps to slide in the new rubber. The whole wiper seems so flimsy I'm worried it might break. Thanks
chrisletts
OK I've sussed it - seems I was right that the end cap can be bent backwards slightly, and the rubber is then flexible enough to go through the slots. I did take off the wiper arm and warm it up indoors to lessen the risk of anything breaking.. £13 for the rubber though !
Mr B
You can buy the complete blade (Denso DRA035) for about £8 .
