Hi all , got my Subaru Forester a few months ago after the wife saying our car was no good for camping and its time to get an estate car !  Only fitted a Remus can and K&N filter so far . 

So now we can carry loads of stuff very quickly 😳

So far its been the best car I ever bought 👍

It will get under your skin and will quickly be elevated to just more than a camping car, the ability to take the **** out of the usual suspects never gets old [emoji23]

It was under my skin after 1 mile , great engine the 2.5 turbo 👍 I need the STI version now .

90% of impreza parts will bolt straight up a remap and a few upgrades will see you with more power torque and better mpg all depends on how long your looking at keeping & investing in it

Cheers for the info , all sounds like good news 👍  Just for the record I called it the camping car to justify the cost , I want to keep it as long as I can and if I can afford to make it faster/better I will . 

Is it just sound deadening on the underside of the bonnet ? Would like to hear the turbo a bit more . 

Yes just rip it out if you want, there's a pair of cats in the exhaust which muffle alot of the sound, removal of these will give you all the noise !
