Streesy Posted January 31, 2018 Posted January 31, 2018 Looking to add a dash cam. Any recommendations please? only challenge is that my Levorg has Eyesight which means the usual installation location is already occupied. So supplemental question is - where is the next best installation location? thanks.
Sandals Posted February 1, 2018 Posted February 1, 2018 I use this one: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Recorder-Resistance-170°Wide-Recording-Detection/dp/B01F5C950I/ref=sr_1_8?ie=UTF8&qid=1517471668&sr=8-8&keywords=apeman In terms of location, as long as it's high up on the windscreen and in an area where the wipers reach, should be fine
stants Posted February 1, 2018 Posted February 1, 2018 Have a garmin 35 in my van And a garmin 55 in the car, Not the cheapest but even the 35 has good quality vid. For a cheap alternative I used the auto guard app on my phone (android) for 3 years and had no problems Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk The 35
BrianP1 Posted February 1, 2018 Posted February 1, 2018 I have the Transcend DrivePro 220 installed in both the STI and the Outback. Never failed (touch wood) and the video is top quality and it has GPS for speed etc... The Outback has Eyesight like the Levorg - I have placed the camera to the left of the Eyesight Camera... Its slightly obstructive to the view of the passenger, but the wife doesn't seem to complain too much...
Sinver Posted February 1, 2018 Posted February 1, 2018 I have the Garmin 45, I placed mine in the bottom left corner of the windscreen. Really nice camera, but turn off the speed camera warning option because trust me it will drive you nuts.
Guest Posted February 20, 2018 Posted February 20, 2018 I have a Nextbase wide angle cam and can't really fault it, cost around £80 I think
Jesse James Posted February 22, 2018 Posted February 22, 2018 i have the nextbase 512 and cant fault it. pretty good app so connects to your phone through the wifi at home then can download what you need.
