Which octane booster?

Featured Replies

Hi there, I'm a new owner of a WRX 06 2.0,and I can't get any fuel above 97ron anywhere near me ,as it states on the fuel filler cap that only 98ron should be used I was wondering what you guys would recommend as the best octane booster , the car has done 102k miles and runs sweet so want to keep it up.any advice would be appreciated

Thanks

Hey
None that’s just a gimmick

You don’t have Tesco’s ?
Tesco momentum is 99 octane
Bp is a 98

Unfortunately no I don't that's 35 miles away,I only have 97 fuel ,in the long term is it gonna Cause damage.

1 point in octane won’t be detrimental to the engine. In fact I would say you’d barely notice the difference.

If it concerns you that much get the car mapped to run 97 octane
