Hi all. Picked my car up yestarday,new to the subaru I have a 2001 uk300 and when driving my boost gauge doesn't work at all and you can here what sounds like a massive boost leek so started to investigate and found the solenoid and 1 pipe is not connected is this right? Iv attached a picture but it's the same solenoid as my st had and no pipes were left off on that?

Welcome to the club buddy, i'm not too clued up on the newage impreza but there should definitely be a pipe coming from that port on the boost solenoid, i think it should go to the pipe from the airbox to the turbo,

Unless you have a manual boost controller then all pipes should be connected as per oem,
Is there any evidence to suggest there's a boost controller ?

Have you found any loose vac hoses that are sat in the bay doing anything ?
