I'm wondering what experiences and thoughts you guys have about certain brands / models. I've been looking at these brands: HKS Super Panel Filter K&N Panel Filter K&N 57i Impreza Induction Kit K&N Apollo Cold Air Impreza Induction System K&N Typhoon Enclosed Impreza Induction Kit HKS Super Power Flow HKS Racing Suction Impreza Induction Kit Mishimoto MMAI-WRX-01P What are you guys thoughts?
October 17, 20187 yr Unless your going front mount just chuck a panel filter in it. I've got a K&N in mine

October 17, 20187 yr Good quality panel filter. Otherwise you will have to get a remap for an induction kit. Standard airbox is surprisingly good and will not hold anything back in a WRX. Edit: Just saw your reply. Still don't think it's worth really. The limiting factor for power in a WRX is the turbo and injectors. If you want some more turbo noise, remove the airbox resonator

October 18, 20187 yr Author Thanks for the replies guys. I've been doing some more research and seen that a majority of people think that the airbox is actually pretty good, like @Sandals says. You mention removing the resonator, does this do anything else bar silence the noise of the intake? If i did remove it would you do anything else?

Just silences the intake, was one of the first things I did to my car.
