amcgeough Posted April 27, 2019 Share Posted April 27, 2019 Hi i'm new to owning subarus and have previously just run around in cheap second hand cars which was fine until i spotted this car relatively cheap and look sound. Until easter weekend when is sounded a little rough and didn't idle to well almost sounded like running on 3. It still drives fine but i now have an oil leak at the rear of the engine and oil splatters over the rear of the car. Obviously i now think all is not right. amcgeough Posted April 28, 2019 Author Share Posted April 28, 2019 I am resigned to the fact that i might have to spend a bit of £ fixing it. I plan on keeping it and running it for the foreseable. Having said that i don't want to throw good money after bad. I may have to consider drawing a line under it and scraping as a runner before it pops at least I'd get some cash back!!
