gpiano
Hello All, So I have the common secondary air pump fault (or secondary emissions system) on my 2.0R 2007 Petrol Legacy Estate . I'm looking to get it removed and the ecu remapped - looking like it's going to be expensive because there needs to be a licence bought for the ecu? Anyone have any experience of this? Cheapest quote I can get is £450 at Sanspeed in Bexleyheath. Bonus is that they can do some performance tweaks at the same time, but any cheaper options i would be interested in! - The tuners I've spoken to so far who are not EcuTek say they can't work on this car. I have read that there used to be a box you could plug in I think but I can't find it for sale anywhere? Any help gratefully recieved! Thanks! CRG77
I had this issue a couple of weeks ago. I would recommend speaking to TDRacing in Warwick. Cost me £75 to have it mapped out.

Appreciate the help though!
gonwan
Hi there, I have same car and the same problem. Did you managed to get it remapped? Thanks
Judd
Tim Farmer (Subbus) is a mobile Scooby mechanic based in Lincs, he's done work for me incl aux pump delete but that was on a 2.5T Forester, whether he can do the same for you i know not. He's noted for good work around the various Subaru forums, reluctant to post his tel number openly and unsure if there's a PM option here or if i've earned the rights to it yet but if you have a poke nose around the Subaru forums you'll probably alight on him. There's also Zen Performance at St Ives Cambs, not mobile.
