savage bulldogs Posted October 19, 2019 Share Posted October 19, 2019 On at least up to bug eye , that pipe with the oil on is for coolant that passes through the cooler /modine. So I'd say it's either from the filter seal , modine , the main bolt that connects through the modine or from above that . Like sump, cam cover or cam seal ect Here's a pic of the early 92 to 96 oil cooler set up for a v1 /V2 from my service manual that might help . ROSSCOSM Posted October 20, 2019 Author Share Posted October 20, 2019 Thanks man I have paperwork stating the cam seal was done in ‘17 it also says that a used sump was fitted however so that is possible.
