welcome to the forum bud, if you don't mind me asking, is the insurance expensive for you on an import? mine is a uk classic and is 5x cheaper than the quotes i got for an import, just wondering if theres somewhere that specialises in import insurance as i couldn't find any when i was getting a subie

I pay 1600 with no ncb atm using them on another policy. With drink driving conviction on my licence from few years back so come 28th September ill have two years no claims to put on it so hopefully couple hundred cheaper what do you pay more or less??

I know my brother used a japanese insura for his Skyline import that was very cheap I can try get the info if that helps anyone. I pay a lot less but have no convictions and I think it's 7 years no claims bonus now I can't remember :)

i was quoted £1500 for an import sti and also the exact same for a 3.0TD hilux surf import, yet from the same company was quoted £900 for a Porsche 997, my turbo 2000 is just over £300, i didn't get asked about alarm immobiliser or Tracker for it whereas the import could only be insured with all 3

i have 10 years NCB and 1 sp30 speeding fine
