Hot weather starting problem

Hi all, not a biggie but when its very hot weather my EJ20 petrol automatic struggles to fire up.

In ordinary / cooler / winter weather it starts up straight away everytime.

Starter turns it over fine but the engine just dies - after a few tries it fires up eventually, a little press on the accellerator seems to help (with the other foot on the brake).

Had the same issue last Summer on very hot days - Just wondering if anyone else has come across this, might it be the start of a bigger problem?

Cheers for any advice

Brack
