First time Forester owner

Hello All,

After many years of Range Rover and Mercedes ownership I’ve finally joined the Subaru community, having admired the cars for many years I’ve eventually taken the plunge.
I’m taking delivery of a 2010 Forester diesel later in the week.
The car is coming to me with a fresh MOT, service and new brake discs Also it’s covered only 57k miles so I shouldn’t need to wield the spanners anytime soon!  I’m looking forward to sharing ownership experiences of mild greenlaning and future maintenance  in due course especially with pictures!
For now I just need new floor mats, load area cover and perhaps a change of head unit to include Apple CarPlay & DAB, it’ll also be useful to view satnav apps from my phone.

You'll love it.I said goodbye to my second Forester XTen, 2.5l turbo petrol,in March after 12 and a half years of fun and 167,000 miles .Now have a Kuga ,purchased in lockdown, could cry as we wallow round every bend.Have a load cover and mats to spare .
