Hi everyone, this is my first post.  I have just bought back my Forester from a relative.  He changed the wheels to 215/55/17 alloys which are now needing new tyres.  So my question is  which tyres to buy.  Annual mileage 6000 max.

Cheers Jim

Hi, depends what your needs are and how much your willing to pay, a set of Michelins will last you forever at 6K miles a year - I went for Michelin Latitude Cross all season but not sure that they come in your size.

My other car has a set of Bridgestone Weatherproof all season - no complaints with those either, brilliant grip in winter.

Nokian are good too according to some members on here

Avoid cheap Chinese brands at all costs or you will be paying twice.
