January 31, 20215 yr Just want to introduce myself. I have a 2005 Forester XT. My first Subaru, I had an Alfa 147 before hand, quite liking the Forester so far, love the power and love the grip, four wheel drive is great! Also, it snowed last weekend so for the first time in my driving life I got to go drifting and doing donuts! Was great fun power sliding the car, though I scared myself a few times! Car has a few issues to sort though which I need to get on top of. I've been lurking on here for the last few weeks, I believe my rear suspension has fallen/collapsed, as it is a lot lower than the front suspension and I think they should be at least 50/50 front/rear, but mine is definitely much lower on the rear! I believe these should have come with SLS, but this car has Monroe's (on the rear at least), I bought the car like this. It's not an issue ATM but I do want to use the car to tow a single axle trailer and a punto/mini race car in the future, the rear is far too low for that at the moment. Pictures!
February 1, 20215 yr Wotcha and welcome - it does seem like someone has made a change - probably when the SLS failed. Have a look at the Pedders solution as it is designed to replace the SLS so should give you the correct height https://pedders.co.uk/info-subaru-forester
