Hi guys
I was driving my WRX up a hill on Wednesday & accelerating quite hard when I lost all acceleration.
I attempted to change down gears but there was nothing at the pedal.
I came to a stop & the engine had cut out before stopping & I haven't been able to start it since.
It turns over but just doesn't fire up.
Any suggestions?

If no engine check light and code I would check for fuel and spark first.

Checked for engine code & nothing found. Should have included that in initial post.

I can smell fuel when turning over so will need to check for spark.

Shouldn't smell fuel when you're cranking it, unless you're sniffing the tailpipe! Check for fuel leaks first.
