Bouncer Posted October 5, 2013 Posted October 5, 2013 How the hell do you stop it, it's doing my t*ts in.....I adjusted on a car a few years ago as there room to "move" the catch to pull it down harder against the stops....so how's it done on the classic wagon, can it be done
Jay762 Posted October 5, 2013 Posted October 5, 2013 given the lack of care your car has had I would check to see if it has not been bent but you should be able to adjust it
Bouncer Posted October 5, 2013 Author Posted October 5, 2013 It's ironic, but this is on the one that's only had 3 owners in 15yrs, the one on the turbo's fine I'll have a look tomorrow
Miggs Posted October 6, 2013 Posted October 6, 2013 I'm sure there's some rubber stops on the boot you can wind out so it stops any moving, all I have to do with mine is gently close the boot with no pressure and it shuts straight away on the latch, passes me off as the wife and kids all slam it, but it doesn't rattle when I drive, are the bolts on the hinges tight?
