Jay762 Posted June 5, 2022 Share Posted June 5, 2022 Airbox and Battery out ahead of prep for engine pull Manifold off Alternator, Aircon pump and pipework off - Aircon will not be going back on Headlights and centre grill out. Aftermarket oil cooler removed as well, as there will be a 6 speed manual transmission going in no need for that to go back on. Radiator had a leak so that will be replaced. Jay762 Posted June 5, 2022 Share Posted June 5, 2022 Rear end Heavy calipers will be replaced with newage alloy / Brembo items R160 rear diff with a slight leak, R180 diff will be going in to match the 6 speed box The rest looks dry and a little rusty - Have read many stories of classic owners and battles with these bolts... Jay762 Posted June 7, 2022 Share Posted June 7, 2022 Actually putting somethng back on - door speaker wire upgrade, tidy up the aftermarket central locking installation and repair to the sleeve old (blue and red) vs new new central locking 5 core cable in the sleeve as well loom wrap to ensure sealed 5 core routed nicely, following existing wire path Ready for replacement speakers And sleeve back in place Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
