2015 STI coilover height - Advice needed

 Share

Recommended Posts

Hi All,

It's been a while since I last posted on the forum. But since then I have bought a new car. I now have a 2015 STI and it came with some nice aftermarket mods. One of those being a set of tein flex z coilovers. I'm looking for some advice as the car is pretty low on these coilovers and sometimes I still scrape the undertray on large speed bumps. The car is supposedly at max height at the back and the fronts have been raised to the same height. I still have room to raise the car at the front but not sure if it would 1. look odd with the front being higher than the back and 2. affect the way the car drives.

Can anyone offer any advice on what to do? I don't want to install my lip kit until it is raised as I will just end up ripping it off while driving. I still have the stock suspension so I was thinking of maybe going back to that with some upgraded lowering springs. What are your thoughts on the best option?

I have added some photos below so you can see the ride height.
