Android Auto issues since stereo software upgrade

Just wondered if anybody has done the most recent stereo/satnav map update from Subaru?

I got an email saying a new map update was available from Subaru (I get them free for the 1st three years on my Levorg).  The update also included a system update as well as the maps.  Since the update I have been having issues with Android Auto. Every time I connect my phone it says there is an issue with Android Auto, Disconnect and reconnect device. I sometimes have to plug my phone in two or three times before it works ok and the Android Auto function becomes available. I tried the wife's android phone and it is the same, so not the phone. Bit of a pain, I am curious to see if anybody else has done the recent map update?
