Had my XV serviced today and MOT'd at Simpsons in Swindon. The Service (48000 miles) and MOT was over £600 and front discs and pads added another £500. Total came to £11178.

As always service was excellent and I had use of an XV hybrid for the day.  Must say that having previously owned 4 Lexus the maintenance costs seem much heavier on the Subaru.

Still a friend was quoted £1200 by an Audi dealer recently for front discs and pads so I mustn't grumble. By the way the car has covered 33,000 miles but of course the service shedule is based on both age and mileage.
