July 11, 20241 yr Hi guys. Looking for any help possible please. I have a JDM 94 Impreza wrx. Recently back on the road after 12years. Mot done. No advisories. Had done 300miles since back on road. Oil changed it as scheduled. Was driving home and rev counter starting dancing and engine cut off. No smoke. No over heating. Still has full oil and coolant. Timing belt intact. Only cranking now but not restarting. Swopped cam and crank sensors. No difference. Checked spark plug I could access... smells of fuel. Wet with fuel. Sparking still. I live in Fife, Scotland. Not sure whats up or who best to look at it. Local garage said possible non compression or timing issue!? Got the feeling they had no clue or interest in car though. Cheers Andy
