New tyres for my Forester e-boxer

Featured Replies

Hi, I’m new here. I own a 2019 Subaru Forester e-Boxer. I’m looking for new tires for it in size 225/60 R17. Up until now, I’ve been using Bridgestone Dueler H/P Sport in the summer. They were quite hard tires, but not bad overall. Unfortunately, they’re no longer available in my country (Poland).

I’m having some trouble finding the right tires for me. I drive my Forester 95% on highways and city roads, and the other 5% on light off-road routes in the Balkans (Croatia, Bosnia, Slovenia, etc.). I often drive there in the summer, and during that time temperatures frequently exceed 40°C. I’m looking for non-AT tires that are safe and perform well on wet asphalt, but also won’t get damaged on light off-road terrain like gravel or rocky roads. The Bridgestones held up well, and I didn’t notice any damage on them. Unfortunately, the tread has worn out and I had to get rid of them.

I have a few options in mind. Maybe some of you have tested these tires and can help me out? Below are my suggestions:

  1. Michellin CrossContact H/T
  2. Yokohama Geolandar G95
  3. Yokohama Geolandar G91 (not "f" version)
  4. Yokohama Geolandar CV G058
  5. Yokohama GEOLANDAR H/T G056
  6. Yokohama Geolandar CV 4S (I’ve read that these tires don’t perform well in heat above 30°C.)
  7. Yokohama BluEarth-4S AW21

I’d appreciate any advice. Thank you very much.

Have you also considered all-season tyres, such as the Pirelli Cinturato All Season SF3 or  Bridgestone Turanza All Season 6 - SUV versions?
