Battery for Gen6

I am having trouble sourcing a new Battery for my 2022 Outback, anybody replaced theirs yet?

Also found that the red positive terminal cover/boot on the Battery is missing Battery, any ideas for a replacement or a Subaru part number please?

not sure why you should have issues finding one, they are just a typical car Battery?

have a look on https://www.yuasa.co.uk/ should be able to search for either make/model/engine or by reg number

Be careful. If it's  Gen5, the standard Battery replacement comes up as Exide EL605 which has reverse terminal layout, meaning the positive terminal is located on the left, ie. the positive terminal is closer to the windscreen, and the terminals are on the left side of the Battery as you look into the engine bay from the grill towards the windscreen. The Exide EL605 is a particularly wimpy Battery, 60Ah 520CCA. Be careful not to get mixed up with Subaru of America where they do things differently. I'm not sure about Gen6 (which Subaru began selling in UK in summer 2021) you could still have a Gen5 (with a 2022 registered car).
