change rear brake pads with elecrtonic handbrake

Featured Replies

Hi

I've got new rear brake pads to fit to my Outback 2.0 SEN 2009. I've done ones on a Forester before but want to know if there is anything special that needs doing as the vehicle has an electronic handbrake.

any tips gratefully received.

thanks

I think should be the same. If it has the anti roll feature that might need turning off but other than that it looks the same as any other really. But I've never changed one either, so hopefully someone whos done it might be better to advise :)

should be the same - still a caliper and piston setup like the others, chock the front wheels and release the brake

oh and welcome :)
