OK.  So I am considering buying a 2009 Legacy 2.5i SE auto.

 

On checking up on the cost of discs and pads, I am told there was a model change in 2009 and asked which model car I had (may have!)

 

Can someone tell me how to distinguish them apart please?

That is a Generation 4 car, built 2003-2009 with a facelift in 2007.
