Bonniebanks Posted December 26, 2013 Posted December 26, 2013 I've got 235/35/19 tyres fitted to my 2002 STI What pressure should I be looking at for these ? If anyone can point me in the direction of a set of gold 17" id be very grateful
Scooby Pete Posted December 26, 2013 Posted December 26, 2013 I run 30psi rear 32psi front, this on 17" though. If you can get the tyres filled with nitrogen rather than compressed air. It's an inert gas so doesn't expand when heated. Means the tyre pressure is constant. Most Kwickfit and ATS can do this.
Jay762 Posted December 26, 2013 Posted December 26, 2013 Wotcha and welcome - I concur with Pete pressures plus the nitrogen is the way to go
Gambit Posted December 26, 2013 Posted December 26, 2013 Hi mate welcome to S.O.C And as Pete has said is about the right pressure Rears should be a bit less by about 2 psi. But I do just put 32 psi all round.
Bonniebanks Posted December 26, 2013 Author Posted December 26, 2013 I was gonna go 33 on front 32 rear
Gambit Posted December 26, 2013 Posted December 26, 2013 Thats should be fine mate with being bigger I have 255/35/18's on mine.
Scooby Pete Posted December 26, 2013 Posted December 26, 2013 There no precise science to it, as long as they are not over or under inflated go with what you feel best. 1
