Hello dudes, just registered so thought I'd post in here.

I've recently purchased a v2 sti which is my first classic. I'm enjoying the car at the moment but always potential to do a little more.

Here's some pics;

Nice clean example bud!! Welcome to the site!

Hello mate welcome to S.O.C

And great looking car, very clean looking. What plans do you have if any ?

A reliable 300bhp would be nice!

Want to try keep as standard looking as possible while trying to make improvements. I've already swapped the exhaust for a group n tsl, trying to get hold of an arc tmic and gonna change the wheels and fit brembos.

All in good time though!

Wotcha and welcome - with that aim in mind you will def need to look at the standard brakes ;) keep us updated, I have longterm plans for a classic myself so would be interested to see the route you take

Yeah, brakes aren't the best as standard.

  • 5 weeks later...

Looks good on more modern rims d o you still have he old wheels ?

  • Author

I do mate, yeah.

You coming to the meet tonight ?

  • Author

I won't be able to make the meet tonight as working from 6pm unfortunately.

well we will be there for a while but if not see you at the next one :)

I agree sets the car off really well, good choice I think there :)

How much would you be willing to part with them for ? Are they 16's or 17's I'm tempted just don't know how gold would look against the two tone colour

  • Author

Not sure what they're worth tbh mate. They've got brand new budget nexus tyres on all round and a bit if paint flake on one but nothing too unsightly.

Managed to get most of the parts I need now too - decat, 440 ph1 injectors, hks panel filter, fuel lab fuel pressure reg, walboro pump, arc

Intercooler and simtek ecu.

Pic of the arc as I love it so much...

Hello and welcome, think you should put your old alloys back on.... And sell the new age ones to me

I'm really happy with how they look and brembo friendly too.

Think Blackbosh was asking in pure hope ;)
