daniel bendhiaf
Hi I have a 2003 bugeye wrx and my boost is not holding? You can hear the turbo spooling and dropping about 3 times before holding on full boost? Have checked all pipes and replaced a couple if anyone could help as really annoying Thanks dan
Jay762
could be not spooling up - worn bearings, actuator not working / leaking which means will not come up to full boost steadily as boost will be bled off leak some where bleeding boost off do you have a variable boost device fitted that could be failing also? are there any engine fault codes being generated? daniel bendhiaf
No verible boost and no fault codes And have taking all intercooler off n.checked all pipes And turbo defo spins up as can hear it and feel ir boosting then drops acouple of times Might have to try actuators as a couple of people have said that
Scooby Pete
Sounds like it might be over boosting or over fueling. When you replaced the pipes did you replace them with same size pipes and refitted the restrictors?
daniel bendhiaf
The only one that was split was the main intake pipe. Filter to turbo.
